For prospective thesis students

A good first message explains the question you would like to investigate, why it matters to you, and how it connects with the lab’s work. Include your degree program, relevant research experience, and the stage you have reached in planning a thesis.

Reading a related paper or a completed thesis topic can help you make the connection specific. A fully developed proposal is not required for an initial inquiry, but a focused question is more useful than a general statement of interest.

For research collaborators

We are interested in conversations that connect substantive questions with thoughtful methods. These may concern joint studies, measurement, comparative research, evidence synthesis, or making findings useful beyond an academic audience.

An invitation to inquire is not an advertised vacancy or a promise of supervision, funding, admission, or employment. Formal arrangements depend on the relevant university program and confirmed project capacity.
